Ministry of Public Security coordinates to organize the national conference of Central reporters in April

On the morning of April 15, the Central Public Security Party Committee coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to organize a national reporter conference for April 2025 in the form of direct and online access to 63 connecting points in provinces and cities across the country. Chairing the conference at the Central connecting point were comrades: Lai Xuan Mon, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Public Security . Attending the conference at the Ha Nam Provincial Public Security bridge point were representatives of the leaders of Ha Nam Newspaper, the Provincial Public Security and professional units under the Provincial Public Security.

At the conference, the leaders of the Central Public Security Party Committee informed about the tradition of the public security force towards celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Force's Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025). Accordingly, the People's Public Security Force was born in the boiling atmosphere of the days of the uprising to seize power in Hanoi on August 19, 1945 during the great August Revolution. Along with crushing the enemy's repression and establishing a revolutionary government, the Northern provinces established the Department of Integrity and the Police Department; the Central established the Department of Reconnaissance; the Southern established the National Self-Defense Force. On February 21, 1946, President Ho Chi Minh signed Decree 23-SL merging the Police and Integrity Departments nationwide into the Vietnam Public Security Service. Although the names in the three regions were different, the first organizations of the People's Public Security had the same mission of suppressing counter-revolutionaries, maintaining security and order, protecting the Party, protecting the revolutionary government, and protecting the lives and property of the people.

Upholding tradition, the People's Public Security force strives to cultivate a strong political stance, tighten discipline, strictly implement the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Public Security, join hands and overcome all challenges; closely and effectively coordinate with all levels and sectors, closely attached to the people, determined to build a clean and strong force, ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks; build a truly clean, strong, elite, modern People's Public Security force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

Also at the conference, the Central Public Security Party Committee informed about the implementation of Decision No. 280/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. The Political Department, the Navy Command quickly informed about the situation of the sea, islands and continental shelf in the recent past.
