On the afternoon of November 6, the Binh Hai and Sa Huynh Border Guard Stations and the An Binh, Be Island and Ly Son Border Control Stations established many working groups to go to coastal residential areas in the area where the units are stationed to welcome more than 100 people to take shelter from the storm.

The soldiers who took temporary shelter in the barracks monitored and looked after the elderly, those with underlying medical conditions, children, and pregnant women. This helped them feel secure while waiting for the storm to pass.

In coastal villages like Van Tuong, Ly Son Island, people's lives are still difficult, their houses are makeshift, so when there are natural disasters and storms, they face even more difficulties. Although the Army unit is quite cramped, the officers and soldiers all give up their places to the people, sharing and protecting them through the storms.

Tonight, a sleepless night. The people in the storm area, with many worries. In difficult times, the care and help of the Border Guard soldiers helped them feel more secure, encouraged each other to overcome the storm.
