Born in 1987, in Kon Braih commune, Kon Tum province - a land with many difficulties, Ben Chi Thinh has nurtured the dream of changing his life through education since childhood. He always tried hard to study and in 2010 graduated from Da Nang University of Economics with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
After graduating, he worked for businesses with a stable income. However, he still had the intention of returning to his hometown to start a business, helping people in this difficult land to have more income.

Mr. Thinh shared: “I was born and raised in the Central Highlands, where there are many rare medicinal herbs. Ten years ago, these medicinal herbs were not sold much in the market. Therefore, in 2015, I decided to return to my hometown to start a business in the field of medicinal products. I went to remote villages to buy ginseng, blood vine, and lingzhi mushrooms from the people and dried them to sell in the market."
After a period of doing business, Mr. Thinh realized that the products sold were only in raw form. Therefore, he decided to switch to deep processing to increase the value of local medicinal herbs.
Mr. Thinh said: "At that time, I went online to learn about how to make drinks from medicinal herbs, and at the same time consulted my parents because they both work in the medical industry. When everything was ready, in 2018 I decided to establish Kora Group Joint Stock Company, specializing in producing drinks from red ginseng and lingzhi mushrooms."
During the startup process, Mr. Thinh always received attention and support from local authorities with many preferential policies.
In 2019, he was supported by the Department of Industry and Trade of Kon Tum province (old) to invest in processing and bottling machines for lingzhi mushroom and red ginseng water products. The total investment is about 450 million VND, of which the industrial promotion supports 150 million VND. To date, the company's production line and process have met ISO 22000:2018 standards.
With continuous efforts, the company's bottled water products Kora Red Ginseng and Kora Ganoderma, ginseng wine, and ginseng jam have gained a foothold in the market. In particular, the bottled water product Kora Ganoderma has been recognized as a National Outstanding Rural Industrial Product in 2021.

Mr. Thinh said that the product has been distributed to 16 provinces and cities nationwide, bringing in revenue of 500-800 million VND per month and creating stable jobs for 8 workers. Every month, the company also purchases from 2 to 5 tons of raw materials such as ginseng and lingzhi mushrooms for ethnic minority people.
Trading in medicinal products, Mr. Thinh understands the values that nature bestows, so he always accompanies the local government in environmental protection activities. From 2020 to now, he has supported more than 95,000 trees for localities in Kon Tum province (old) to implement afforestation.
With the mindset of daring to think, daring to do, daring to break through, Mr. Ben Chi Thinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kora Group Joint Stock Company - has successfully started a business, not only creating income for himself but also contributing to the consumption of products of ethnic minorities, increasing the value of local specialties.
