The visit took place in the context of the increasingly expanding economic cooperation between Vietnam and Australia, especially in the field of nutrition. The milestone of Nutifood and ViPlus Dairy co-founding the international joint venture ViPlus Nutritional Australia, co-creating the brand GippsNature, has pioneered a potential economic cooperation model.
Also within the framework of the visit, Minister Danny Pearson and the Delegation visited Nutifood's Product Research & Development (R&D) Department and E-commerce Livestream Department, thereby learning about the brand's research capacity as well as modern market access strategy.

The journey of bringing Australian nutrition brand GippsNature to Vietnam
In May 2025 in Melbourne, Nutifood and ViPlus Dairy - an Australian dairy company with over 130 years of history, established an international joint venture ViPlus Nutritional Australia in the presence of the governments of the two countries. By October 2025, the international nutrition brand GippsNature and its first strategic product, GippsNature Organic A2, were officially launched in Vietnam.
Minister Danny Pearson highly appreciated this cooperation model, considering it a symbol of the spirit of connection and mutual development between Vietnam and Australia. He expressed his strong support and expectation that the ViPlus Nutritional Australia joint venture will achieve impressive results, becoming a model of effective economic cooperation, contributing to promoting trade, export, as well as local economic growth.

Vision to take GippsNature global
At the meeting, the Victorian Government, the Board of Directors of Nutifood and ViPlus Dairy discussed the cooperation roadmap as well as GippsNature's global development strategy in the next 3 years. The joint venture aims to achieve revenue of 33 million USD in 2026 and 130 million USD in 2028, while expanding the market to Southeast Asia and some Middle Eastern countries.

In addition to the total initial investment capital for the joint venture, Nutifood has invested an additional 230 million USD (equivalent to 6,000 billion VND) to expand the farm and factory in Gia Lai , developing a production line of ready-to-drink nutritional products under the GippsNature brand, applying Australian standard formulas.
In addition, GippsNature will continue to launch new products, focusing on premium formula milk and nutritional products suitable for each age group from infants, adults to the elderly. Each product is developed based on the "natural" philosophy, reinforced by a modern scientific foundation.
In addition to the initial total investment capital of more than 3 million USD (70% from Nutifood and 30% from ViPlus Dairy), Nutifood has invested an additional 230 million USD (equivalent to 6,000 billion VND) to expand the farm and factory in Gia Lai, develop a production line of ready-to-drink nutritional products under the GippsNature brand, applying Australian standard formula.
Mr. Jon McNaught - CEO of ViPlus Dairy expressed his belief in Nutifood's capacity and experience, and emphasized: " The international joint venture is expected to create many job opportunities for the Gippsland region, as well as promote cooperation in research and development of nutritional formulas with leading universities in Melbourne."
Mr. Tran Bao Minh - Vice Chairman of Nutifood's Board of Directors also shared: "Through this joint venture, Nutifood hopes to work with Victoria to promote bilateral economic cooperation, while creating sustainable nutritional values, contributing to bringing Vietnam and Australia further on the world food and nutrition map."
