Military Region 3 Command visits and presents gifts to wounded and sick soldiers in Ha Nam

Practically aiming to celebrate the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, on the morning of July 17, a working delegation of the Military Region 3 Command led by Major General Ha Tat Dat, Deputy Commander of Military Region 3, visited and presented gifts to nursing centers for wounded soldiers in Ha Nam. Accompanying them were Major General Nguyen Huy Hoang, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of Military Region 3; representatives of the Provincial Military Command; Party committees and authorities of Thanh Liem and Kim Bang districts.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts at Kim Bang War Invalids Nursing Center; visited and presented gifts at the Center for Nursing Seriously Wounded Soldiers and Nursing People with Meritorious Services of Ha Nam Province (Liem Can, Thanh Liem).

At the centers, the delegation kindly inquired about the health and living conditions of the veterans and presented the centers and veterans with meaningful gifts. In a friendly conversation with the veterans, Major General Ha Tat Dat, Deputy Commander of Military Region 3, expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation to the veterans, those with meritorious services, and families with preferential policies in the cause of fighting for national independence, building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, he affirmed that over the years, together with local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, and organizations, the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 3 have always paid attention to leading and directing the armed forces to carry out many practical and meaningful activities, contributing to helping policy beneficiaries overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives.

The military officers and soldiers of the military region have made the greatest efforts to take good care of the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiaries. Typical activities include: supporting and building nearly 800 new houses of gratitude and comrades' houses; giving 451 savings books to policy beneficiaries; taking care of 210 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; sponsoring 28 children of war invalids; creating jobs for hundreds of children of war invalids and martyrs; organizing medical examinations, health consultations, and providing free medicine to over 40,000 policy beneficiaries... with a total amount of hundreds of billions of VND.

Appreciating the efforts of the veterans who are being treated in Ha Nam to overcome their injuries, Major General Ha Tat Dat hopes that the veterans will continue to be shining examples in their daily lives, enhancing the fine tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", overcoming difficulties, building a prosperous and happy family life, and actively contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.

On this occasion, the leaders of Military Region 3 presented gifts from the Central Military Commission of the Ministry of National Defense to the veterans. At the same time, the Military Region 3 Command; the Provincial Military Command and localities presented many meaningful gifts to the veterans.
