Miss Lan Anh "culture shock" when returning to Vietnam

Lan Anh's full name is Do Thi Lan Anh, born in 1997, and has lived abroad since childhood. After being crowned Miss Earth Vietnam in October 2023, she decided to return to her homeland to start a career.

Sharing with Tien Phong , the reigning Miss Earth Vietnam said: "When I first returned to Vietnam, I had a bit of culture shock because my experiences were not like what I thought. At that time, I did not realize that I was in a different place than I had been for more than 20 years. This was the first time I had been away from my family for such a long time, a time when I tried to integrate into life in Vietnam.

When I first came back to Vietnam, when I talked to my friends, there were many jokes I couldn't understand. When they finished explaining, the conversation wasn't as funny as before.

However, the beauty is confident that she can soon integrate into life in Vietnam: "Although I was born in Vietnam, I had to come to America early, so I didn't have the opportunity to understand much about the place where I was born.

When I return to Vietnam, I have a new mindset and am always ready to learn. I hope that what I have learned and accumulated during my time competing in Miss Earth Vietnam and the upcoming Miss Earth will help me succeed in developing in Vietnam."

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has not yet received the petition of Meritorious Artist Do Ky.

On the afternoon of November 27, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet, Chief of Office, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the Ministry had received information that Meritorious Artist Do Ky had sent a petition about the suspension of the People's Artist title review but had not yet received this petition.

"If we receive an application, we will handle it according to our authority," Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet affirmed.

Meanwhile, Meritorious Artist Do Ky said he had sent a petition to relevant authorities since November 24.

Currently, the public is very concerned about the suspension of Meritorious Artist Do Ky's consideration for the title of People's Artist because his file has a complaint letter and opinions from the Ministry of Public Security .

Meritorious Artist Do Ky was very upset about this: "My application for the 10th People's Artist title was approved by the grassroots level when it met the criteria and conditions, and was sent to the Central Emulation and Commendation Committee, but because of a petition, it was temporarily left behind (according to Notice No. 604/TB-NTBD), but I was informed that the issues raised in the petition were clarified by the Department of Performing Arts working with the Vietnam Drama Theater as being baseless, or in other words, it was a slanderous petition. So is it reasonable to "temporarily leave behind" my application?"

The male artist said he sent a petition to clarify the following issues: Who is the petitioner? What is the content of the petition? Does his file have an opinion from the police, and if so, what is the opinion?...

Le Quyen "lovingly blames" the editorial board of "Riding the Wind"

At the end of the first round of the program "Beautiful Sisters Who Ride the Wind and Break the Waves" , Le Quyen was the name that safely entered the next round. To get this result, the female singer had to practice the choreography very hard. However, when on screen, the performance of Le Quyen's team had quite low light so the faces of the "beautiful sisters" could not be seen clearly.

Sharing on her personal page, Le Quyen humorously said: "This work took away 2 of my big toenails, but yesterday I didn't even see it, how could I see the results of 7 sisters practicing hard. But it's just for fun, probably the intention is to stimulate everyone's imagination."

Previously, the female singer also revealed that she had a lot of difficulty practicing choreography: "Quyen is the one who has the most difficulty learning choreography. While her friends are resting, relaxing, and eating, Quyen practices to keep up with them."
