The Ministry of Health requested Nam Dinh to review the process of receiving and treating the emergency of a child run over by a car.

Regarding the case of emergency treatment of child MTA according to information reported by the press: "The hospital requires enough money to provide emergency treatment for the child who was run over by a tractor" at Nam Dinh General Hospital on May 3; through the work of grasping the situation of patients being treated at the National Children's Hospital, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health requested the Director of the Department of Health of Nam Dinh province to urgently review the process of receiving and emergency treatment of child MTA at Nam Dinh General Hospital, comparing with the provisions of Article 44, Law on Medical Examination and Treatment No. 15/2023/QH15 and current regulations.

At the same time, the Department will strictly handle individuals and groups if violations of the above regulations are detected; coordinate with the National Children's Hospital to detect professional limitations (if any) and promptly correct them.

The Department requests the Director of the Department of Health to urgently direct and implement the above contents; report the results to the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management before May 6 for synthesis and reporting to the Ministry's leaders.
