The Ministry of Health requires hospitals to strengthen measures to prevent COVID-19 infection.

At the same time, prepare facilities, isolation areas, medical equipment, and medical supplies to organize admission, isolation, diagnosis, treatment, and infection control.

At the same time, strengthen infection prevention measures, especially respiratory infections, to minimize the spread of disease in medical examination and treatment facilities. Have solutions to ensure safety for patients in high-risk groups (such as pregnant women, people with underlying diseases, serious illnesses, the elderly, etc.), intensive care areas, cardiovascular, artificial kidney, surgery, etc. At the same time, strengthen the work of cleaning the outside environment, cleaning the hospital rooms, arranging convenient departments, suitable for the epidemic situation and ensuring a green, clean, and beautiful environment.

In Hanoi , COVID-19 increased after the holiday. Last week, the city recorded 23 COVID-19 cases, with no deaths. It is forecasted that in the coming time, the number of COVID-19 cases in Hanoi may continue to increase slightly and appear sporadically, due to many crowded events and festivals, as well as increased interaction and travel during the summer.

In the face of the above situation, Hanoi CDC recommends that people proactively implement epidemic prevention measures such as wearing masks when going to medical facilities, crowded places or on public transport; limiting gatherings in crowded places (if not necessary); washing hands regularly with soap or antiseptic solution; covering mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing; not spitting indiscriminately.

Increase physical activity, physical training and proper nutrition to improve physical condition. When experiencing symptoms of cough, fever, and difficulty breathing, go to a medical facility for timely examination and consultation. People returning from countries with epidemics need to proactively monitor their health and prevent the spread to relatives and the community.
