QNgTV- Binh Thanh Border Guard Station said that between 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. this afternoon, October 29, four fishing boats anchored at the wharf were swept away by floodwaters to Sa Can estuary.

At 11:30 a.m., fishing boat QNg 90737 TS, capacity of 720 CV owned by Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa, in Tuyet Diem 1 village, Van Tuong commune, and fishing boat QNg 90816 TS, capacity of 409 CV owned by Mr. Pham Be, residing in the same locality, were anchored at the anchorage in My Tan village, Binh Son commune, when they drifted to Khe Hai beach.

Following that, two fishing boats QNg 95591 TS, QNg 90586 TS, with a capacity of 734 CV and 870 CV, owned by Mr. Huynh Vinh, residing in My Tan village, Binh Son commune, were anchored at the anchorage in My Tan village, Binh Son commune, and drifted out to Sa Can estuary.

Currently, Binh Thanh Border Guard Station has coordinated with local authorities, ship owners and fishermen to pull one of Mr. Vinh's boats to a safe area. The remaining three boats are mobilizing towing vehicles at Dung Quat port to find ways to help.
