Vietnam women's volleyball team enters VTV Cup 2024 final

On the evening of August 30, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team defeated Korea Expressway (South Korea) with a score of 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-23) in the semi-finals of the VTV Cup 2024 Women's Volleyball Tournament.

Excited after the victory over Henan Shuanghui in the quarterfinals, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team entered the game smoothly. They quickly created a large gap of 11-6 thanks to their well-coordinated plays. Bich Tuyen still played an important role in creating points. Vi Thi Nhu Quynh and Le Thanh Thuy also had many unexpected situations that caused the Korea Expressway blockers to miss a beat. Despite a slight loss of concentration in the final points, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team still won 25-21 in game 1. In game 2, the Korean team had the advantage again, leading 5-3. But the more they played, the more mistakes they made. Thanks to that, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team gradually equalized and then led 8-6, 13-8.

Korea Expressway did not give up easily and their efforts helped them tie the score at 17-17. But once again, the home team played calmly to win this game with a score of 25-20. In game 3, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team continued to be in a chasing position and had to tie the score. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team then repeatedly neutralized the opponent's attacks and led 20-16.

It seemed like victory was near, but the girls of Korea Expressway rose up strongly. They scored continuously to lead 22-21, reviving the opportunity to take back 1 set. However, Bich Tuyen and her teammates did not let that happen. They played bravely, taking advantage of every opportunity to score. In the end, it was Bich Tuyen who had an attack that sent the ball to hit the opponent's block out, helping the Vietnamese women's volleyball team win game 3 with a score of 25-23. With a final score of 3-0, the home team won a ticket to the final match of VTV Cup 2024 against a very strong opponent, Korabelka (Russia).
