Vietnam women's volleyball team exports players

Vietnam's number 1 female volleyball player Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa, main attacker Do Thi Minh and libero Nguyen Thi Kim Lien are the first 3 Vietnamese female volleyball players to go abroad to play for clubs in Thailand.

Currently, Do Thi Minh and Kim Lien are playing for the reigning national champion team Idea Khonkaen in the Thailand National Volleyball Championship. The remuneration that the two athletes receive when playing for this club for 3 months is about 8,000 to 10,000 USD.

Meanwhile, Ngoc Hoa joined the Ayutthaya Club with special treatment. Every time the Ayutthaya team had a match, the number 1 Vietnamese player would fly there a day in advance and then return to Vietnam right after the match. The total cost of the plane ticket and Ngoc Hoa's salary is estimated at nearly 3,000 USD/month.

Mr. Huynh Quang Vinh, leader of Binh Dien Long An Club, the management unit of Ngoc Hoa and Kim Lien, said that going to Thailand, the country with the strongest volleyball in the region, to compete is not only an opportunity for Vietnamese hitters to earn more income but also a valuable opportunity to compete, gain experience, improve quality and promote Vietnamese women's volleyball.
