According to VTC News, goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung expressed his wish to leave. He wants to move to Ho Chi Minh City Club in the second leg. This team is currently lacking a quality goalkeeper to rotate with Thanh Thang. However, up to this point, Hanoi Police Club has not yet made a final decision on Bui Tien Dung's future.

Filip Nguyen has reached an agreement with the Hanoi Police Club. He can return to Vietnam and sign a contract with the police team at the end of June, right before the deadline for player registration for the second leg of the 2023 V-League.

Filip Nguyen's presence will significantly affect Bui Tien Dung's chances of playing. In recent matches, coach Flavio Cruz used two goalkeepers, Patrik Le Giang and Do Sy Huy. Bui Tien Dung was not registered.

It is understandable that the goalkeeper born in 1997 wants to return to Ho Chi Minh City. In addition to playing continuously, Bui Tien Dung also gets to be close to his small family as his wife has just given birth to their first child.

However, Hanoi Police Club is unlikely to agree to let Bui Tien Dung leave. Because of recruiting Filip Nguyen, this team must consider keeping Bui Tien Dung.

Filip Nguyen and Patrick Le Giang do not have Vietnamese nationality. According to the tournament regulations, Hanoi Police Club can only register one foreign player of Vietnamese origin in the second leg. Therefore, if Filip Nguyen is used, the top team will have to leave out Patrik Le Giang.

In that case, if no other goalkeeper is added, Hanoi Police Club must keep Bui Tien Dung to ensure there are 2 backup goalkeepers.

It is expected that the Hanoi Police Club will pay Filip Nguyen a salary and "kickback" many times higher than what he received in the Czech Republic. Filip Nguyen himself admitted to the European media that what he received when he returned to Vietnam far exceeded his salary in Europe.

In addition to Filip Nguyen, Hanoi Police Club has the service of midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai. The player born in 1997 signed a contract for 1.5 seasons to return to play in the V-League. This rookie team also changed foreign players, saying goodbye to former Arsenal U18 captain Elton Monteiro and adding Raphael Success, the striker who just scored in the victory over Ha Tinh in round 12 of the V-League.
