Ca Mau organizes Southern Traditional Cake Festival and "U Minh Forest Fragrance"

These are activities within a series of events towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the event program "Ca Mau - Destination 2025". The activities of the event program "Ca Mau - Destination 2025" aim to promote and introduce the potential and strengths of Ca Mau province through cultural, sports, tourism and trade events and activities; introduce the land and people of Ca Mau, gradually making Ca Mau an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists.

Accordingly, the 5th Southern Traditional Cake Festival takes place from April 26 to May 4 at Tran Hung Dao Square, Ward 5, Ca Mau City. The festival has many activities: displaying food stalls, traditional cakes, OCOP products, images promoting Ca Mau tourism; promoting and demonstrating the processing of traditional cakes with the theme "Fragrance and beauty of Ca Mau"; Southern Traditional Cake Competition; folk games, art programs, etc.

The 2025 “U Minh Forest Fragrance” Festival with the theme “U Minh Ha Colors” will take place from April 25 to May 1 in U Minh town and Huong Tram Ecotourism Site. The festival will have many activities: opening ceremony, rural market recreating the image of agricultural and aquatic product trading activities of Ca Mau land, demonstration of processing and displaying the largest fish sauce hotpot in Vietnam, trade fair; sports competitions: composite tire racing, bicycle racing; folk games; tourism promotion activities at the following locations: U Minh Forest Flowers, Song Trem Ecotourism Site, Huong Tram Ecotourism Site, community tourism sites...
