Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics promote cooperation implementation until the end of 2025

On September 25, 2025, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the 2025-2030 period on policy consultation and feedback; training, fostering and developing human resources; scientific and technological research, innovation, digital transformation; smart urban development and international cooperation.

Based on the signed agreement, at the meeting, delegates listened to a summary report on the progress of implementing cooperation contents in the past time. Notable activities include coordinating the implementation of scientific research topics; organizing training and fostering skills for staff and civil servants, especially improving the management efficiency of communal-level staff to meet the requirements in the current period; cooperation in digital transformation, innovation, connecting startups and developing high-quality human resources.

Dr. Dinh Cong Khai, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and members of the working delegation highly appreciated the proactive coordination of relevant departments and branches of Ca Mau province in the process of implementing cooperation contents; at the same time, introduced a number of new training programs, applied research models and cooperation orientations expected to be implemented in the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan emphasized: Improving the province's competitiveness, first of all, overcoming existing bottlenecks and bottlenecks, aiming for double-digit growth in the coming time is an urgent task and needs to be prioritized.
