According to Vietnam Social Security, as of May 2025, there was more than 100.2 million citizen information in the database managed by Vietnam Social Security.

In addition, 100% of health insurance medical examination and treatment facilities have implemented health insurance medical examination and treatment using chip-embedded citizen identification cards with over 214 million successful searches of health insurance card information using personal identification numbers/citizen identification cards to serve health insurance medical examination and treatment procedures.

Regarding the implementation of integration and provision of online public services, the entire social insurance system has processed 1,748,507 records, including: 1,729,499 records of health insurance cards for children under 6 years old; 18,501 records of funeral allowance settlement and 507 records of death benefit settlement.

Regarding the coordination of the implementation of the Electronic Health Book, nationwide there have been 314,155,645 data submissions from health insurance medical examination and treatment facilities to the system of Vietnam Social Security.

Of which, there have been 152,128,607 successful searches of health examination records, referral papers, and re-examination appointment papers linked to the National Population Database for integration into the VNeID application.

In addition, nationwide, 1,363 medical examination and treatment facilities sent driver health examination data with 6,255,215 data sent; 1,951 medical examination and treatment facilities sent birth certificate data with 2,361,179 data sent; 796 medical examination and treatment facilities sent death certificate data with 31,024 data sent.

Regarding the promotion of non-cash payment of insurance benefits, according to Vietnam Social Security, in urban areas alone, over 83% of beneficiaries receive social insurance and unemployment benefits through personal accounts (exceeding the target assigned by the Prime Minister by 23%). Nationwide, over 80% of the total number of people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts.

Vietnam Social Security emphasized that with the synchronous and comprehensive implementation of solutions in implementing Project No. 06 on applying population data development of Vietnam Social Security, the entire system has helped optimize the use and exploitation of databases to serve people and businesses.
