On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of Voice of Vietnam (VOV) (September 7, 1945 - September 7, 2025), VOV organizes a special art and political program Triumphant Song, taking place at 8:00 p.m. on April 25, at the Hanoi Opera House.

The program is divided into 3 parts: Hanoi hears the news of victory, Marching to Saigon, The country after reunification . Each part is an emotional journey recreating heroic milestones, from historical memories to the reality of a renewed, integrated and developing Vietnam. In particular, the program bears the unique mark of the Voice of Vietnam - the unit that directly broadcast the historic victory news on April 30, 1975.

People's Artist Quoc Hung, the program's general director, affirmed that the Triumphal Song was completely re-staged by gathering young artists, the songs, medleys, and mashups were newly arranged and mixed. Especially the dance performance "As if Uncle Ho were here" on the great victory day by 100 children.

Singer Dong Hung - who will perform the mashup Tien ve Sai Gon - Mua xuan tren TP.HCM, will join the old recording of the Voice of Vietnam. He shared: "This will be a special moment, when joining the old recording of the Voice of Vietnam, it feels like I am having a dialogue with the past - a heroic, emotional and sacred past. I feel like I am being fueled by the melodies that once moved an entire generation. The mashup is like a bridge between two eras - where Hung not only sings, but also learns how to listen, empathize and be grateful".
