Regiment 692 is one of the typical units of the entire army, with a long history of achievements and experience in organizing the reception and training of new female soldiers.

To prepare forces to practice, participate in, and serve the parade and march during the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the unit adjusted the training plan and completed the contents earlier than expected.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Danh, Commander of Regiment 692, from February 2025, the unit was assigned to receive new female soldiers, many of whom have university and college degrees. The soldiers were assigned to 4 platoons. The management and training process was ensured to be correct, sufficient, and of good quality according to the standards and regulations of the Ministry of National Defense and the tasks assigned by the Hanoi Capital Command.

Correctly implementing the principles, viewpoints and motto of "Basic, practical, solid" and well applying "3 viewpoints, 8 principles, 6 combinations", during the training period, the team of officers and soldiers of Regiment 692 did not mind the rain or shine, working hard day and night on the training ground, actively overcoming all difficulties, making efforts to organize training andeducation with focus, key points, close to the psychology and characteristics of new female soldiers.

“Before training sessions, we always do a good job of preparing materials, arranging the training grounds and training grounds according to the training conditions, wearing equipment to ensure neatness and uniformity, and maintaining strict discipline in training. In particular, the preparation of lesson plans and training methods of cadres have many innovations, are scientific , and suitable for female soldiers. In addition, the Party Committee and the Regiment Commander also lead and direct the units to organize well the activities of the Youth Union and youth movements, in order to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, build solidarity, and encourage new soldiers to overcome difficulties and complete training tasks well,” said Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thai Son, Political Commissar of Regiment 692.

After the training period, 100% of female soldiers grasped basic knowledge of politics, regulations, techniques, tactics, and knowledge of logistics and engineering. Many training contents were of high intensity, in hot weather conditions, but all officers and soldiers showed the spirit of trying to complete the task well.

At the end of the training period, the results of the test on troop management regulations, team regulations, political awareness, tactics, physical strength, and AK shooting, all female soldiers met 100% of the requirements.
