Localities organize visits and give gifts to typical policy families

On July 23, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), many localities in the province organized delegations to visit and present gifts to exemplary policy families.

Secretary of the Party Committee of An Bien commune ( An Giang province) Tran Chien Thang led the working delegation of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Bien commune to visit and present gifts to policy families in the commune.

Specifically, the delegation visited 5 typical policy families, including: Mr. Tu Van Anh (3/4 disabled soldier), residing in Ward 2; Mr. Pham Ngoc Riep (3/4 disabled soldier), residing in Ward 3; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Xuan (infected with toxic chemicals), residing in Ward 4; Mr. Huynh Phuoc Nhuom (3/4 disabled soldier), residing in Ward 5; Mr. Le Minh Thu (3/4 disabled soldier), residing in Dong Quy Ward.

On the same day, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of An Phu commune, Quach To Giang, led a delegation of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to visit and present gifts to policy families in the hamlets of An Hung, An Thanh, An Thinh and Phuoc My.

Chau Thanh commune officials visited and gave gifts to Mrs. Tran Thi Don

The delegation of the Party Committee, People's Committee, People's Council, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Thanh commune (An Giang province) led by Chau Thanh commune Party Secretary Lam Minh Cong visited, presented gifts, and expressed deep gratitude to Ms. Tran Thi Kim Oanh (disabled soldier), Mr. Huynh Minh Khanh (disabled soldier, grade 2/4), Ms. Tran Thi Don, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Dien (relatives of martyrs).

The delegations kindly visited the health and lives of the families of the policy beneficiaries and expressed their deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and those who have contributed to the cause of national independence. They hoped that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, actively participate in contributing ideas to build the locality, and contribute to educating the younger generation to live with ideals and responsibility for their homeland and country.
