On Christmas, the church is decorated very early, there is always a large pine tree and a small scene of the nativity scene set up next to the statue of the Virgin Mary on the front. With its architectural beauty and central location, countless souvenir photos have been taken here every Christmas. A whole section of Ham Long Street is sparkling with thousands of decorative lights. This street is where Ham Long Parish Church (Hoan Kiem District) is located. The church was built by Father Despaulis Joseph when he began his ministry in 1936, and was inaugurated on May 7, 1939. With the patronage of Saint Anthony and following the humble spirit of the poor Saint Francis of Assisi, Ham Long Church was built simply and modestly. The overall space of the church is gentle, with a unique gothic architecture. Thai Ha Parish Church is hidden in a crowded residential area on Nguyen Luong Bang Street (Dong Da District). The church belongs to the Redemptorist Order, established in Thai Ha Hamlet in 1929 of the last century. In the church grounds, a miniature nativity scene is set up, which is elaborately lit up during Christmas. Cua Bac Church (Queen of Martyrs Church) is a Catholic church on Phan Dinh Phung Street (Ba Dinh District). This architectural work has many unique features, the shape of the church does not follow the rules of symmetry, but is offset with the high bell tower on the right and balanced with the dome (Cuppole) in the center. The church was originally intended to be titled the Vietnamese Martyrs, but was later officially renamed the Queen of Martyrs. Cua Bac Church is not only a place to hold ceremonies to worship God, but is also a particularly valuable architectural work.
