Military schools recruit additional civilian staff

The Military Science Academy recruits three majors: English, Russian and Chinese languages by considering high school graduation exam scores, capacity assessment scores of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City with a threshold of 19-20.81. Candidates submit their applications from now until September 15.

Accordingly, the criteria, combination, and score threshold for receiving applications are as follows:

Candidates who have not passed the entrance exam or have passed the entrance exam but have not confirmed their admission to any training institution.

Admission score: Candidates have a total admission score (after converting certificates into foreign language scores and converting HSA and APT scores to a 30-point scale).

+ English language major: From 19.00 points or higher

+ Russian language major: From 19.38 points or higher.

+ Chinese language major: From 20.81 points or higher.

Total expected recruitment target is 73 additional positions, including:

+ English language major: 29 targets.

+ Russian language major: 27 targets.

+ Chinese language major: 17 targets.

University of Information and Communications still has 20 positions for Information Technology and 20 positions for Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, recruiting until September 15. The admission score is 19.5.

Candidates can register for consideration using high school graduation exam scores of groups A00, A01, C01 and X06, or use the capacity assessment test scores of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University.

The Logistics Academy also announced the recruitment of more than 240 students for three majors: Finance - Banking (37 positions), Accounting (135), and Construction Engineering (69). The deadline for receiving applications is September 14.

4 admission groups include A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), C01 (Math, Literature, Physics), X06 (Math, Physics, IT).

The minimum score for receiving applications based on high school graduation exam scores is 18/30, the capacity assessment scores of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City are 74/150 and 603/1200 respectively. All are then converted to a 30 scale.

Military schools have been recruiting civilian students since 2002, but stopped in 2017-2021, to innovate and reorganize the organization.

In 2025, 13 military schools were assigned to train the civilian system with a total of more than 3,200 quotas, of which the Military Technical Academy had 755 quotas, the Logistics Academy 460 quotas, the Military Medical Academy 630 quotas, and the Military Science Academy 250 quotas. Some other schools such as the Political Academy and the Information Officer School were also assigned to train the civilian system from 2025.
