On December 23, Secretary of Can Thanh Town, Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City Phan Minh Phuong spoke with Dan Viet reporter: "Can Gio District Party Committee has issued a decision to remove all positions in the Party for Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - former Principal of Can Thanh 2 Primary School, Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City".

Specifically, according to the Secretary of Can Thanh Town, the reason for removing Mr. Tuan from all Party positions is shown in Decision No. 1214-QD/HU dated November 6 signed and issued by the Secretary of Can Gio District Party Committee.

Decision to discipline Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Party Committee member, Party Cell Secretary, Principal of Can Thanh 2 Primary School (under the Can Thanh Town Party Committee).

The Standing Committee of Can Gio District Party Committee found that, as a Party Committee member, Party Cell Secretary, and Principal of Can Thanh 2 Primary School, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan has not fulfilled his role as an exemplary cadre and Party member, especially as a key leader.

Mr. Tuan lacked self-cultivation and training, had degraded morality and lifestyle, violated party member standards, and had an illicit relationship with Ms. Nguyen Thi Th, residing in Hoa Hiep 2 Hamlet, Long Hoa Commune, Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City.

In terms of nature, extent, and harm, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan's violation has great harm, creating bad public opinion, causing outrage in society; directly affecting the married life of Mr. Tuan's family and Ms. Th's family, damaging his own reputation, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization, agency, unit and especially the education sector of the district.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan violated Clause 2, Article 26 "Failure to comply with policies and regulations of superior Party organizations". Clause 2, Article 54 "Violating regulations on professional ethics standards of the industry, agency, and unit".

The Standing Committee of Can Gio District Party Committee decided to "Discipline comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Party Committee member, Party Cell Secretary, Principal of Can Thanh 2 Primary School, by removing him from all positions in the Party (Committee member, Party Cell Secretary of Can Thanh 2 Primary School, term 2022 - 2025. Member of the Executive Committee of Can Thanh Town Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025)".
