In 2023, socio -economic activities in Cam Giang district will recover and develop. The economic structure continues to shift positively. The district has achieved and exceeded 9/11 targets and plans. Many growth targets compared to 2022, such as the total state budget revenue in the area reaching the highest level in many years, with over 600 billion VND, exceeding 78% of the annual estimate, up 98%. The production value per hectare of land for cultivation and aquaculture is 189 million VND/ha, an increase of 14 million VND/ha. Average income per capita is 72.1 million VND, an increase of 7 million VND... The "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) program has achieved positive results.

In 2023, Cam Giang will remain in the top of the province in terms of new rural construction results. The whole district has 258/285 basic criteria meeting advanced and model standards according to regulations, an average of 17.2 criteria/commune. Of the 11 communes recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards, 3 communes have met model new rural standards. Currently, Ngoc Lien and Tan Truong communes have basically completed the criteria for advanced new rural communes, 2 years ahead of schedule (Cam Dien and Thach Loi communes are preparing to merge); Cam Van, Cam Doai and Dinh Son communes have basically completed the criteria for model new rural communes.

In 2023, the district will focus the strength of the political system to resolutely manage and handle land violations; administrative reform; receive and handle people's petitions; improve the effectiveness of compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance. The district has focused on removing many bottlenecks in site clearance; handling some long-standing problems. Notably, such as completing the protection of the construction of the 220 kV line through Cam Hung commune; strengthening site clearance for the Cam Dien - Luong Dien industrial park service road; Dai An industrial park phase 2 expansion, Tan Truong expansion, road 394B connecting National Highway 5 with the Sat River overpass to Phuc Dien industrial park... Many key projects and works are being focused on to accelerate investment progress.

The Party Committee and government of Cam Giang district soon deployed the tasks for 2024 with the theme "Discipline, responsibility, action, breakthrough". The district launched a competition to effectively implement 4 key tasks. Specifically: Strengthening land management, proactively preventing and resolutely handling violations of land, traffic corridors, irrigation works, and environmental pollution in the area. Implementing administrative reforms, promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in state management activities. Reviewing and perfecting the criteria for advanced and exemplary new rural areas; striving to basically complete the criteria for advanced new rural districts. Focusing on arranging commune-level administrative units in accordance with the principles of order, content and time, ensuring the effective operation of the administrative apparatus. In addition, the district continues the breakthrough work of focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles, speeding up the progress of site clearance for key projects and works.

In 2024, Cam Giang continues to focus on realizing the district's regional planning. Orientation to organize development space with 4 main areas: administrative center, culture, commercial services, public works system; urban service development; industrial development and concentrated agricultural development area, high-quality agriculture. The district focuses on building and developing multi-industry, high-tech, supporting and clean industries; contributing to creating a dynamic industrial zone in the west of Hai Duong province. This year, the district focuses on creating a clean land to complete the construction of Dai An industrial park expansion phase II, Tan Truong expansion, Luong Dien-Ngoc Lien; Luong Dien II and III industrial clusters.

The district continues to pay attention to investment in socio-economic infrastructure. From the beginning of the year, the district focused on completing investment procedures for key projects such as the construction of Luong Dien bridge; continuing to upgrade a number of key district roads; renovating and gradually completing urban areas of Lai Cach and Cam Giang... Land and natural resources are strengthened in management and used more effectively; environmental protection is emphasized.

Focusing on clearing clean land, Cam Giang creates favorable conditions for investment in construction of key projects and works.

In 2024, the district has identified 12 main socio-economic development targets such as total production value in the area increasing by 16% or more; agriculture and fishery increasing by at least 3%; industry and construction increasing by at least 16%; trade and services increasing by 17% or more. Continue to increase budget revenue by 10% or more; increase agricultural production value by 6 million VND/ha... The quality of education and health care continues to be improved. Social security is guaranteed, with an average income of 78 million VND/person or more; create 2,600 new jobs...
