(VTC News) - The metro station connecting Suoi Tien (HCMC) will be built in the A1 roundabout cultural, commercial and service area of ​​Binh Duong with an area of ​​7.1 hectares, total investment cost of 2,400 billion.

The project of the Cultural, Commercial and Service Area - Central Station A1 (A1 Roundabout, Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City) was approved in November 2018, with the Industrial Development and Investment Corporation - JSC (Becamex IDC) as the investor. After 6 years of approval, in September 2024, the project officially started construction. According to Becamex IDC, the project has a budget of about 2,400 billion VND, construction in 18 months.

Upon completion, the project will become the largest commercial center in Vietnam with many outstanding items such as an outdoor fountain, a large square, a 6-storey shopping center, a cinema, a food court, an indoor sports area, a hotel and a conference room. Surrounding the roundabout area is a complex of apartment and office projects for rent...

The highlight of the project is the square with a capacity of 4,000 to 10,000 people. Indoor gymnasium and performing arts hall for 4,000 spectators.

In particular, a metro station connecting Suoi Tien (HCMC) will be built here. The station has an area of ​​5,800m2, combined with commercial services.

In mid-February 2025, the Prime Minister directed Binh Duong province to soon study and invest in this metro line. The metro line from Suoi Tien to Binh Duong is about 30km long, with a total estimated cost of more than 51,700 billion VND.

A1 roundabout is located in a prime location of Binh Duong province (right behind the Provincial Administrative Center building). At this location, there are major connecting roads including: Hung Vuong, Le Duan, Cao Thang, Duy Tan, Le Hoan.

The construction unit arranges signaling systems such as construction site signs, directional signs, warning lights...

Inside the project, the construction unit is performing bored piles and test piles.

Vehicles are currently only allowed to run one way.

Every day, sanitation workers sweep and check the infrastructure of Chu Van An street.

A1 roundabout is the first urban model developed in the direction of public transport (TOD) in Binh Duong province.
