The Five Star Poseidon - Five Star Odyssey tower on Thuy Van street is under urgent construction, expected to be 50 floors high, promising to become a new symbol of Vung Tau ward.

In June 2025, Five Star International Group started construction of phase I of two 5-star apartment-hotel complexes, Five Star Odyssey and Five Star Poseidon. In the photo is the construction site of the 50-storey Five Star Odyssey tower under construction on Thuy Van Street.

Thuy Van Street, about 8 km long, has become the "backbone" of the local tourism industry, with hundreds of large and small hotels. When these two projects are completed, two more high-rise buildings will appear on the street, creating a new identity for the coastal city.

According to the investor, Five Star Odyssey has an area of ​​8,189 m², 50 floors high and 4 basements, including more than 427 hotel rooms and about 1,000 resort apartments, operated by Accor and Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts.

According to VTC News' reporter in mid-November 2025, the construction site of the Five Star Odyssey building was drilling piles for the foundation, with mechanical machinery operating continuously all day.

Five Star Odyssey is designed to be 50 stories high, including 4 basements and is expected to become the tallest building in Vung Tau upon completion.

The project's frontage faces the sea, the back is directly connected to the city center, forming a large-scale complex of accommodation and resort apartments. On the trading floors, the expected price of Five Star Odyssey apartments ranges from 90 - 120 million VND/m² depending on location and area.

Opposite the project, Tam Thang Square is planned as a public space facing the sea, combining trees and walking paths. When completed, this area promises to become an attractive stopover, while promoting surrounding commercial and service activities.

About 1 km away, the Five Star Poseidon building development area is now fenced off, workers are clearing grass and leveling the ground.

The Poseidon project is planned with a pedestrian tunnel connecting directly to Thuy Van beach, helping residents and tourists move safely without having to cross the crowded road. The expected selling price of Poseidon apartments is about 100 million VND/m², higher than the general level around Thuy Van area.

When completed, the Five Star Odyssey and Five Star Poseidon projects will become new icons of Ho Chi Minh City and are expected to provide more than 2,000 luxury apartments and 600 hotel rooms.

With this supply, Thuy Van area will welcome a large number of high-end accommodation products, contributing to balancing supply and demand in the resort real estate market.
