On the morning of June 14, at the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, the Ministry of Education and Training held a conference to deploy projects on human resource development and cooperation between the three "Houses": State - school - business.

At the conference, Dr. Vu Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science , Technology and Information, Ministry of Education and Training, informed about some contents related to the plan to implement the project of training and fostering human resources to serve nuclear power development until 2035.
According to Mr. Binh, Ninh Thuan 1 nuclear power plant is expected to need about 1,920 people, of which 1,020 are university graduates (engineers, bachelors), 900 are college graduates; and 320 are newly trained abroad.
Ninh Thuan 2 Nuclear Power Plant needs about 1,980 people, of which 1,050 are university and postgraduate level, 930 are college level; 350 are newly trained abroad.
With the training and development of domestic and foreign human resources to meet the needs of serving the Ninh Thuan 1 and Ninh Thuan 2 nuclear power plants, the Ministry of Education and Training prioritizes the selection of students who have graduated in the same major to send for training and development in the nuclear power major with a commitment to serving the Ninh Thuan 1 and Ninh Thuan 2 nuclear power plants in each phase.
Specifically, select and send first and second year students at domestic training institutions to study abroad with a commitment to serve one of two nuclear power plants.
The Ministry of Education and Training selected 11 domestic training institutions to participate in training and fostering human resources for the Ninh Thuan 1 and Ninh Thuan 2 nuclear power plants, including: Hanoi University of Science and Technology; University of Natural Sciences (Vietnam National University, Hanoi); University of Natural Sciences (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City); University of Electricity; Dalat University; Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (Ministry of Science and Technology); University of Science and Technology (Vietnam National University, Da Nang); University of Science and Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City); Hanoi University of Construction; Ho Chi Minh City College of Electricity; Vietnam College of Petroleum.
Mr. Binh said that it is expected that schools will enroll students from the 2026-2027 school year.
