On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day (May 1), this year, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers will have 5 consecutive days off, lasting from April 30 to May 4. Increased traffic volume during the holidays poses a potential risk to traffic safety on the roads.

To ensure traffic order and safety for the activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and political events taking place in the province, the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police mobilized maximum forces, means, and technical equipment to focus on resolutely handling thematic groups.

The authorities have identified key routes and areas to focus on patrolling, controlling and handling violations, and combating and preventing all types of crimes on the roads during rush hours.

Major Cao Thanh Vu - Officer of the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police said, in the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Tay Ninh province, many events also took place in the province. Therefore, the Traffic Police Department's leadership has a plan to deploy early to the teams, stations, police of communes and wards as well as to all soldiers in the unit.

Mobilize all forces to focus on doing well all aspects of work such as: increasing on-duty, lane division, and traffic regulation at key intersections. The Traffic Police Department directs teams and stations to increase patrols, control, and handle violations of alcohol and drug concentrations, unsafe overtaking, driving in the wrong lane, carrying oversized, overloaded vehicles, extending the vehicle's body, causing traffic insecurity, etc.

Officers and soldiers work with a dynamic and positive attitude in patrolling, controlling as well as guiding and helping traffic participants from other provinces visiting Tay Ninh as well as local people returning home for the holidays. During the performance of their duties, the Traffic Police will strive to do their best, performing well in all aspects of work so that the people's holiday will take place safely and smoothly.

Authorities recommend that traffic participants, during the holidays, absolutely comply with traffic laws to protect their own lives and the lives of other traffic participants.
