Tan Chau: Awarding the scholarship "Learning never ends"

Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Chairman of the Tan Chau District Education Promotion Association.

This time, the Tan Chau District Association for the Promotion of Education awarded 37 "Learning Never Ends" scholarships, worth a total of 63 million VND, including: 18 primary school students, each receiving 1 million VND; 12 secondary school students, each receiving 2 million VND and 7 high school students, each receiving 3 million VND.

The District Association for Promotion of Education awarded 86 scholarships, totaling 93 million VND to poor, studious students with difficult circumstances, including: 79 primary school students, each receiving 1 million VND; 8 high school students, each receiving 2 million VND.

In addition, the Association also awarded 38 excellent students at the provincial level, each receiving from 500,000 VND to 2 million VND, and 10 excellent homeroom teachers at the provincial level, each receiving 1 million VND. The total value of this scholarship is over 200 million VND.

Awarding scholarships and rewards to excellent students and excellent homeroom teachers at the end of the school year helps local authorities and families take care of students' material and spiritual needs, while also encouraging teachers and students to strive to teach and study better in the new school year.
