Many people also went to the "call for help" post to warn. Ms. Tran Thi Trang, in Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi shared: Seeing my friend transfer money, I also intended to support. However, after receiving information that this was a fake district hospital page, I went to the page and commented to warn "It's a scam, everyone", hoping that many people would read it and not transfer money anymore.

The fake article was also shared on many Facebook pages with the names of different hospitals such as: Bac Quang Regional General Hospital, Bao Son General Hospital... and also attracted many people to transfer money to support.

Under the warning post of Bao Yen District General Hospital, a Facebook user named "Cun Pao Ngoc" commented: "This patient was previously impersonated by someone who also called for support while being treated at Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital. The Ministry of Public Security has also warned people about the emergence of criminals creating websites and Facebook pages impersonating universities, advertising training centers, semester training courses, military and police summer camps... for children to approach parents in need and entice them to deposit money to participate in order to appropriate property. At the same time, it is recommended that people: be vigilant, only register to participate and transfer money when they have clearly understood the information of the organizing unit. When discovering fraud or property appropriation, it is necessary to quickly report to the nearest police agency and reflect via the VNeID application.

Authorities need to actively investigate and handle cases of fraud and illegal charity calls. People also need to be vigilant, identify charitable activities, and speak out against scams on social networks to avoid being taken advantage of.
