Lao Cai Market Management destroys large quantity of violating goods

On the afternoon of May 30, the Market Management Department of Lao Cai province destroyed a large quantity of goods seized due to administrative violations, with a total value of destroyed goods of more than 407.5 million VND.

All of the destroyed goods were of unknown origin, counterfeit goods, etc., discovered and seized during the inspection, control, and handling by the Lao Cai market management force from May 15 to 30, 2025.

In the presence of the Council for Destruction of Administrative Violations and the authorities, the Lao Cai Provincial Market Management Department destroyed 1,560 kg of frozen chicken feet, 751 bottles of various types of milk, 261 kg of Chinese sausage, 25 boxes of various types of functional foods, 370 packages of instant chicken feet, 50 boxes of mochi cakes, 9,120 fruit spoon jellies, 2,400 bottles of fruit yogurt, 1,180 boxes of homemade baked milk tea, 810 packages of cow's milk candy, 9,150 chestnut cakes, and 300 kg of various types of traditional Chinese medicine.

Counterfeit goods of brands GUCCI, CROCS, ADIDAS, including: 91 pairs of sandals of various types, 95 pairs of shoes, 20 T-shirts, 10 glasses.

All seized administrative violation exhibits were destroyed in accordance with procedures and regulations.
