According to information from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), to help player Nguyen Hoang Nam Mi maintain her training regimen while waiting to join the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club (because Nam Mi flew from Canada to Hanoi to wait for her home team), the Club has proposed that the VFF allow this player to temporarily train with the national women's team from May 6 to May 8, 2025.

"Nam Mi has been allowed by the VFF to temporarily train with the National Team during this training session. This morning, Nam Mi and I had a discussion and both teachers and students are very happy that she has the opportunity to return to compete and contribute to the Fatherland. The training time during this training session is an opportunity for Nam Mi to get acquainted and get in tune with the team's exercises and is also an opportunity for the coaching staff to better understand her professional abilities," said the head coach of the Vietnam Women's Football Team, Mr. Mai Duc Chung, about the new face in this training session.

According to the plan, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will have 10 days of training in Hanoi, before playing an international friendly match with Werder Bremen Women's Club (Sportverein Werder Bremen) at 7:00 p.m. on May 16./.
