Coast Guard ready to respond to complex developments of storm No. 13

The Regional Command has thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented three telegrams, six telegrams, two instructions, and three plans from all levels on storm prevention and control work No. 13.

Maintain strict on-duty forces, direct 13 ships operating at sea to regularly monitor the storm's developments closely, organize anchoring at the port for 35 ships, 21 boats and two repair ships at the factory; review and adjust storm response plans; organize reinforcement of warehouse systems, stations and workshops; check the technical condition of vehicles.

Check the entire communication system, coordinate with local authorities to establish eight mobile teams ready to help people prevent and fight storms.

Prepare 90 beds, supplies, and ensure food and drink in case of receiving people to evacuate to avoid the storm. At the same time, send an official dispatch to the People's Committees of Quang Tri - Gia Lai provinces to coordinate and be ready to participate in troubleshooting, search and rescue, etc.
