Traffic police sponsor 18 mountainous students

(Dan Tri) - 18 students with difficult circumstances in Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district, were sponsored by the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police.

On November 24, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police officially launched the "Trade Union Adopted Children" program - an initiative to support disadvantaged students at Muong Noc Primary School, Muong Noc Commune, Que Phong District, Nghe An.

This program has sponsored 18 students from poor households, in especially difficult circumstances, needing help from organizations and individuals in nurturing, caring for, and creating conditions for them to develop and study.

According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department, the "Union Adopted Children" program will last at least 1 year, starting from November, with a support level of 500,000 VND per month for each student.

The unit will organize gift giving for children on the occasion of Lunar New Year and Action Month for Children. In the future, the Traffic Police Department plans to coordinate with related units to expand this program throughout the province.

The program's funding is donated and supported by the leadership, officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department.

On this occasion, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province presented 50 warm blankets and 100 candies to students of Muong Noc Primary School.
