Ha Giang Province Traffic Police Return Property to International Tourist

BHG - On the afternoon of April 9, Working Group No. 10, Team 4, Traffic Police Department, Ha Giang Provincial Police completed procedures to return lost property to a female tourist of Lithuanian nationality while traveling at Dong Van Stone Plateau.

Working Group No. 10, Team 4, Traffic Police Department, Ha Giang Provincial Police returned lost property to Ms. Zukiene, a Lithuanian national.

Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on April 5, Task Force No. 10, while patrolling and controlling the Ma Pi Leng Pass area (Meo Vac district), picked up a black leather wallet; after checking inside, they found: 1 ID card, 1 driver's license, 3 bank cards and 560 EURO (equivalent to about 15 million VND). All of the above documents were in the name of Zukiene, female, born on August 25, 1995, Lithuanian nationality. Afterwards, the task force contacted and handed over all the lost property of the tourist.

It is known that while traveling with her husband in Ha Giang, while on the way from Meo Vac district to Dong Van district, female tourist Zukiene lost her wallet; however, after moving back to Ninh Binh , the tourist discovered that she had lost her property.

Receiving their property back, Ms. Zukiene and her husband were moved and thanked the working group for their help. The beautiful actions of the Ha Giang traffic police left a good impression on foreign tourists; thereby contributing to building the image of Ha Giang as a friendly and hospitable place.
