At the meeting, delegates conducted the procedure to dismiss comrade Trieu Dinh Le, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province (retired), from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Next, the delegates conducted the election process for comrade Be Thanh Tinh, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.
As a result, comrade Be Thanh Tinh was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province with a high number of votes of confidence.
The delegates also conducted the procedure to dismiss comrade Hoang Xuan Anh, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province (retired), from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Next, the delegates conducted the election process for comrade Le Hai Hoa, Deputy Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee.
As a result, comrade Le Hai Hoa was elected to the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province with a high number of votes of confidence.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Be Thanh Tinh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council sincerely thanked the Central Party Secretariat; Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Standing Committee of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for their trust and assignment of new tasks. He also thanked the delegates of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council for their trust and election of him to the position of Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council.
Identifying the task of Chairman of the People's Council of Cao Bang province as an honor and great responsibility, comrade Be Thanh Tinh affirmed that he will constantly strive, work hard, and practice to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
The new Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council affirmed that he and his team will closely follow reality, innovate, and improve the quality of activities of the People's Council and individual People's Council delegates, meeting practical requirements.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Le Hai Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee affirmed that being introduced by the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee; being elected by the Provincial People's Council delegates to hold the position of Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee is a great honor, an important milestone in his work and dedication. At the same time, he affirmed that he and the collective will well implement the motto "resolute action, modern management, responsibility to the end" in leading, directing, operating activities and performing tasks.
The new Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee also shared that in the coming time, Cao Bang will focus on developing based on four economic pillars including border gate economy, tourism economy, agricultural economy and industrial economy.
At the same time, pay attention to implementing social security policies well, improving the material and spiritual life of ethnic minorities; protecting the environment; preserving the unique cultural identity of ethnic minorities; drastically reforming administration, serving people and businesses well...
At the meeting, delegates of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council also conducted the procedure to dismiss three comrades from the position of members of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee: Dam Minh Tuan, former Commander of the Cao Bang Provincial Military Command, currently holding the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 1; Sam Viet An, former Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Cao Bang Province, transferred to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Cao Bang Newspaper; Be Van Hung, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions (retired).
The delegates also dismissed from the position of member of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee comrade Vu Hong Quang, Director of Cao Bang Provincial Police, who was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee.
At the meeting, delegates elected additional members of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for comrade Van Khac Thanh, Commander of the Cao Bang Provincial Military Command.
Also at the meeting, delegates of the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council reviewed, discussed and approved 3 resolutions: reorganizing the Cao Bang Provincial Inspectorate; approving the list of projects and works requiring land recovery in Cao Bang province in 2025 (supplemented phase 1); approving the list of projects and works registering the need to change the purpose of using rice-growing land, protective forest land, special-use forest land, and production forest land in Cao Bang province in 2025 (supplemented phase 1).
