Mr. Alwin Low, General Director of Northern Region of CapitaLand Development (Vietnam) and Mr. Do Duy Vi, Co-CEO of Blue Dragon Children's Foundation officially launched the campaign season 3.

This grant is part of a three-year commitment of US$270,000 (over VND6.7 billion) to support street children and students in Vietnam. Previously, CHF donated US$75,000 (over VND1.8 billion) to Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, which supports the social resilience of children and adolescents through education, vocational training, career guidance, life skills development and leadership capacity.

Mr. Alwin Low, CEO of CapitaLand Development (Vietnam) North, shared: “We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive in life. Through our strong partnership with Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, we are gradually realizing our commitment to providing education and practical support to street children and students, helping them escape the cycle of poverty. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of CapitaLand Hope Foundation, this campaign is a meaningful milestone, demonstrating the Group’s long-term commitment to creating positive and sustainable impacts in Vietnam. In the previous event, we were excited when the outdoor walking event attracted more than 5,000 participants. This year, we aim to double that number and hope to continue to receive support from the community and like-minded organizations, to spread love and create meaningful values.”

Mr. Do Duy Vi, Co-CEO of Blue Dragon Children's Foundation, shared: “For us, love is not only a humanistic value, but also a source of strength to bring about positive changes, especially for disadvantaged children. We are honored to continue to accompany CapitaLand in the “Footsteps of Love” campaign this time to support more street children to have the opportunity to study, helping them have a safe, knowledgeable and hopeful future. This strong partnership allows us to support more children, ensure their safety and inspire them to pursue their passion. Every step we take today will be an important step towards building a brighter tomorrow for the young generation of Vietnam.”

Since 2011, CLD through CHF has contributed approximately VND70 billion (equivalent to S$3.6 million) to corporate social responsibility activities in Vietnam. These initiatives have brought practical benefits to more than 19,000 children and young people, with over 26,000 volunteer hours from CapitaLand employees and the community.

The Fullton, CLD's first low-rise housing project in Hung Yen province (next to Hanoi), is the main sponsor of this campaign in Hanoi.
