The world's longest glass bridge in Moc Chau attracts tourists

Bach Long Glass Bridge in Moc Chau, Son La province, Vietnam is currently the longest walking glass bridge in the world with a total length of more than 632m, officially recognized by the Guinness World Records Organization.

This is a prominent project in Moc Chau Island tourist area, invested and built by 26 Moc Chau Joint Stock Company with a total capital of nearly 800 billion VND. The construction process started in 2021 and officially opened to welcome guests on the occasion of April 30, 2022.

Bach Long Glass Bridge is located in Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district, spanning two mountains and steep cliffs, creating an adventurous and unique experience for visitors.

The bridge is divided into two main parts: the part spanning the valley is 290m long and the part following the cliff is 342m long, with a height of up to 150m above the ground. The bridge deck is 2.4m wide in the part spanning the valley and 1.5m wide in the part above the cliff.

The red flag with yellow star was hung along the glass bridge to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The entire bridge surface is made of super-clear, super-strength French glass (Saint Gobain), consisting of three layers of 40mm thick glass, capable of withstanding up to 5 tons each.

The bridge has been tested with heavy loads, even trucks have run over it to ensure absolute safety for visitors. The cable car system and 30m high towers were imported from Korea and are designed to be sturdy, strong, ensuring the durability and safety of the bridge.

When walking on the Bach Long glass bridge, visitors can admire the majestic panorama of the Northwest mountains and forests, with a cool green valley and a stream flowing below, creating the feeling of floating in mid-air.

The end point of the bridge is Chim Than cave (or Muong Mooc cave) with natural stalactites and stone sculptures reflecting the cultural life of the indigenous Thai people, creating more cultural appeal for visitors.
