After 20 years of establishment, from 10 initial members, the Hai Duong Senior Journalists Club now has 70 members. Members are all experienced journalists who have worked at provincial press agencies, newspapers and magazines of central ministries and branches.

Over the past 20 years, members of the Hai Duong Senior Journalists Club, despite their advanced age, have been enthusiastically composing and writing articles in many genres such as political commentary, reflection articles, short stories, poems, music, essays, etc. Many members have had their works selected for publication in a number of books, newspapers, and magazines of central and local ministries and branches. Every year, the club has more than 10 works of its members participating in the journalism awards of the Provincial Journalists Association, the Nguyen Luong Bang Journalism Award, the Con Son Literature and Arts Award, etc.
To have rich writing and composition materials, over the past 20 years, club members have been on field trips to many places inside and outside the province such as Quang Ninh, Phu Tho, Lang Son, Bac Giang , Kinh Mon town, Chi Linh city... to have good quality, current works, highly appreciated by readers.
In addition to composing and writing articles, many club members regularly participate in annual table tennis competitions organized by the Provincial Journalists Association; care about the health and connect members. The club periodically organizes longevity celebrations for members of silver and golden ages, and cultural exchanges.

In 2024, the Senior Journalists Club will continue to unite and encourage members to live happily and healthily, actively compete creatively to have many quality works, and participate in journalism awards such as: Nguyen Luong Bang Journalism Award, "Hai Duong Aspiration, Development" Journalism Award, Con Son Literature and Arts Award...
On this occasion, the club held a birthday party for 12 elderly members.
