Lai Vung district currently has over 200 hectares of red tangerines, of which 160 hectares have been cured of diseases and over 40 hectares have been newly planted. The district's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development recommends that gardeners should properly apply the technical process in the district's red tangerine conservation project and use traditional organic fertilizers to improve the soil. For newly planted areas, attention should be paid to building high mounds when planting tangerines, ensuring good drainage, and limiting the occurrence of yellow leaves and root rot on citrus trees.
