Outstanding with good teaching and learning achievements

My An 2 Primary School has 17 people including managers and teachers with university and master's degrees; the school has a total of 242 students. The school is always united, supporting each other in professional work, fully participating in movement activities launched by the Department of Education and Training (GD&DT) and the Department of Education and Training. At the same time, the District Department of Education and Training and the Department of Education and Training highly appreciated the achievements in the rate of mobilization and maintaining the number of students at 100%, no students dropped out of school, 100% of students participated in health insurance; the rate of students completing the annual class program is always 99% or higher, 100% of 5th grade students completed the primary program. The school was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee for maintaining the standard of anti-illiteracy - universal primary education at the right age; achieving level 2 of educational quality assessment; achieving National standard school level 1 in 2021.

In addition to outstanding achievements in teaching and learning, My An 2 Primary School is also a bright spot in student movement activities. Implementing the direction of the Department of Education and Training, the highlight in April and May 2025, the Board of Directors and teachers of the school organized many events in response to major holidays of the province and the country such as: activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the Liberation Day of Dong Thap province, the 71st anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025)...

The activities are organized in a variety of contents to attract students to participate, such as collecting and displaying images of Uncle Ho with children. Teachers will prepare images and introduce Uncle Ho's immense heart, affection, love and affection for children... guiding students on what to do to be worthy of being good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho. After that, teachers guide students to work in groups, discuss with their friends, and arrange the images into a heart-shaped frame to create a complete traditional educational work.

Innovation with traditional room model

To diversify educational activities, the school has taken the initiative to implement visual propaganda for students. The school's Board of Directors has contacted and borrowed paintings and photos praising the Party, Uncle Ho, and resounding battles, demonstrating the heroic and resilient struggle of soldiers who did not spare their blood to protect the independence and freedom of the nation, attached them into many large picture frames, displayed, and arranged on both sides of the schoolyard entrance to propagate and spread the spirit of patriotism to parents and students.

In particular, in April 2025, My An 2 Primary School launched the Traditional Room model with the participation of leaders of the Department of Education and Training, Dong Thap University, more than 250 students and parents. Mr. Pham Chi Cong - Principal of My An 2 Primary School, said: “As a school, it is very necessary to have a place for students to visit, experience, and study, thereby educating them about patriotism, ethics, and revolutionary history. Therefore, the school has cherished the dream of building a Traditional Room, which is not only a space for teachers and students to learn about the historical imprints of the country, but also a form of visual and vivid education for the younger generation to understand more about the revolutionary tradition, educating the ideal of living beautifully and living worthily for generations of students. Although financial conditions are still limited, with a sense of responsibility and passion, love for the profession, and love for students, the collective of managers, teachers, staff, and students in the school have joined hands to realize that dream. Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong - Principal of Dong Thap University, a former student of the school, was the first person to inspire the collective by supporting 20 million VND, this valuable source of funding has laid the foundation foundation, ideas for project implementation".

During the implementation of the Traditional Room, the School Board did not hire a design unit but organized to collect opinions from teachers and staff, then, took advantage of the old warehouse, repaired it, came up with ideas and designed the content and form in accordance with the educational orientation. At the same time, they contacted to ask for old items, recycled, painted, collected, collected, contacted to find documentary images... For each small stage such as: ceiling design, layout arrangement, harmonious decoration, creating highlights... are all the results of solidarity, creativity and enthusiasm of the School Board and teachers. More touchingly, some teachers such as: Ms. Pham Thi Trang contributed 1,500,000 VND, Ms. Ho Thi Thu Hien contributed 1,000,000 VND to make ceiling panels, Mr. Pham Viet Thang designed the images, Mr. Duong Duc Hien designed and donated audio books for the Traditional Room and many meaningful contributions from the efforts of teachers and parents. In particular, the school also invited representatives of the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, some departments, and managers of neighboring schools to advise and give suggestions so that the Traditional Room is both educational and ensures aesthetic and historical values.

After all the collective efforts, the Traditional Room was launched, the beautiful exhibition space, the design layout is a path along the length of history like a film, on the path there will be areas, exhibition rooms according to different periods. Along with the LED lighting effect, impressive and unique sound attracts viewers and learners. In the central area of ​​the room, there is a talking book compiled by the teacher in Vietnamese and English on each page. When the viewer turns a page, the electronic circuit with AI technology, speakers, and the book will play the audio content on that page...

It can be said that with all their dedication and passion for the career of educating people, teachers of My An 2 Primary School have promoted the strength of collective solidarity, determination, creativity and flexibility to maintain the quality of teaching and learning, forming an interesting and impressive traditional cultural and educational space for students.
