Only over 33% of Binh Dinh candidates registered for the 2023 high school graduation science exam

On May 20, the Office of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province announced that Chairman of the People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan signed a decision to establish the Steering Committee for the 2023 high school graduation exam in the province.

Accordingly, the Steering Committee is headed by Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, with 8 deputy heads, 26 members, and 3 secretaries.

The Steering Committee is responsible for assisting the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province in directing districts, towns, cities; relevant departments, branches and organizations to coordinate with the education sector to organize the 2023 high school graduation exam in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The Department of Education and Training of Binh Dinh province said that the province has 18,903 candidates registered to take the high school graduation exam in 2023.

Of these, the majority of candidates registered to take the exam for high school graduation and admission to colleges and universities. Only 327 candidates registered to take the exam for high school graduation and 325 independent candidates took the exam for admission to colleges and universities.

This year, the number of candidates in Binh Dinh registering for the social science subject group (history-geography-civic education) accounts for a high percentage (66.14%), about 12,500; the number of candidates registering for the natural science subject group (physics-chemistry-biology) is only about 6,350 (33.59%).
