



The delegation visited and presented gifts to former frontline laborers, including: Truong Van Trieu, born in 1925 in Trung Tam village; Mr. Nong Van Ly, born in 1935 in Na Ma 1 village; Mr. Hoang A Ho, born in 1935 in Na Ma 1 village; Mr. Nong Van Chinh, born in 1931 in Na Ma 1 village; Mr. Hoang Co Pha, born in 1935 in Na Nhung 2 village; Mr. Vuong Van Sang, born in 1934 in Na Nhung 2 village. The six elderly men currently living in Ban Lau commune were those who participated in the frontline laborers serving the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.


At the places visited, comrade Pham Hung Hung, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, expressed his gratitude for the great contributions of the frontline laborers who devoted their youth and contributed to the Dien Bien Phu Victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world". On behalf of the provincial delegation, he also shared his feelings, pride and gratitude to the heroes, martyrs, veterans, and frontline laborers of Lao Cai who bravely contributed to serve on the Dien Bien Phu battlefield; wished the former frontline laborers good health, to always be a spiritual support, to educate the younger generation to continue promoting traditions, and to contribute to building the increasingly developed homeland.
