Chi Pu stated that she is no longer an exclusive artist of The First Management. The singer also clarified that she is not a shareholder in the management company.
On March 18th, Chi Pu Speaking out regarding information related to the collaboration with The First Management company.
"My company and I have unanimously decided to change our model from artist management to commercial exploitation. I am grateful for all the contributions and support from the company over the past time. Although we will no longer be working together as artist managers, we will continue to support each other in suitable projects in the future," Chi Pu wrote.
The singer also clarified information regarding her status as a shareholder in the management company. "I would like to clarify that I am not a shareholder and do not own any shares in The First Management. I only established the company GOM, which acts as the legal entity owning my products and is directly managed by me," Chi Pu stated.
Chi Pu further shared that she is currently signed with two companies, including a partnership with The First Management in the Vietnamese market and a collaboration with Ryce Entertainment in the Chinese market. The singer also shared with her audience that there will be many changes related to the companies in the near future.
A representative from The First Management stated that the company and Chi Pu only collaborate when there is a suitable project. The company is no longer responsible for managing or handling other aspects of the singer's life as it did previously.
Chi Pu has been working with her management company for many years. The First Management also supported the singer when she participated in the reality show "Sisters Riding the Wind" in China. The singer of "Stay, My Love" has been actively working in both China and Vietnam after her success on the reality show.
She has consistently participated in numerous programs in China, such as Hunan TV's All-Star Acceleration. A Delicious Guess, Hello Saturday, Tmall, Asian Youth Music Festival...
She also signed a contract with RYCE Entertainment, the company behind her. Jackson Wang and Amber later released the music video for "Finding You," which included both Vietnamese and Chinese versions.
