The new generation Nissan X-Trail e-POWER e-4ORCE will be officially launched in the Thai market on November 28 at the Motor Expo 2025. This is a 7-seat SUV with exclusive e-POWER technology, powered by a dual electric motor system and full-time four-wheel drive. In terms of design, the X-Trail T33 retains a modern and sturdy appearance with an overall length of 4,660 mm, width of 1,840 mm and height of 1,720 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,706 mm. Compared to the previous generation (T32), the car is slightly extended in both length and width, providing a more spacious interior for three rows of seats.
The exterior is highlighted with multi-layered LED headlights, a hands-free trunk opening system with motion sensor, a nearly 90-degree opening rear door and remote car start feature via key. In addition, the new generation Nissan X-Trail e-POWER e-4ORCE 2026 SUV is also equipped with a terrain control system with operating modes including Off-road, Snow, ECO, Standard and Sport. The interior of the X-Trail e-POWER e-4ORCE is equipped with many high-end amenities. This SUV has three rows of seats with seven seats, integrated seat heating system, three-zone independent air conditioning and high-end BOSE sound system.
In addition, users can enjoy amenities such as a 9-inch central touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.8-inch head-up display (HUD), a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, wireless charging, and rear seat sunshades. The highlight of the X-Trail e-POWER e-4ORCE 2026 lies in its unique powertrain structure: the 1.5L 3-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine does not transmit power directly to the wheels but only acts as a generator, providing power to two separate electric motors on the front and rear axles. This new engine configuration not only optimizes performance but also provides a smooth, quiet driving experience typical of electric vehicles without the need for external charging. Specifically, the front electric motor (BM46) has a maximum capacity of 203 horsepower, 330 Nm of torque, while the rear motor (MM48) reaches 135 horsepower and 195 Nm of torque. This combination creates the e-4ORCE 4WD drive system, allowing the X-Trail to flexibly adapt to many types of terrain. The vehicle uses a C-SUV chassis, competing directly with famous names such as Honda CR-V or Toyota RAV4.
In terms of safety, the X-Trail T33 is equipped with Nissan's Safety Shield 360 technology package with a series of advanced features such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian warning, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, smart cruise control and 360-degree camera. The car also has the ProPILOT Assist semi-autonomous driving system, helping to improve the driving experience in urban areas and on highways. Notably, Nissan will import the X-Trail e-POWER e-4ORCE completely from Japan, similar to the SERENA e-POWER C28 model launched in Thailand in 2024. The price of the X-Trail is expected to be slightly higher than the SERENA, reflecting the product's positioning in the Japanese market.
