Paying more than 177 billion VND in pensions and social insurance benefits in May 2025

This is one of the practical activities demonstrating the deep concern of the Government and the Prime Minister for social security work, caring for the material and spiritual life of the people, especially for revolutionary veterans, war invalids, sick soldiers, meritorious people who are receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits... on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day, May 1. The early payment of pensions and social insurance benefits not only creates favorable conditions for beneficiaries to be proactive in spending, to celebrate the holiday happily and warmly, but also demonstrates the profound humanity of the social insurance policy.

Retirees are excited to receive their pensions early.

Immediately after receiving the Prime Minister's telegram and instructions from Vietnam Social Security, Tien Giang Provincial Social Security proactively coordinated with relevant units to synchronously deploy payment plans:

- Beneficiaries via personal accounts (ATM) were fully paid on April 25, 2025, with 20,630 people, the amount of more than 151.5 billion VND.

- Cash recipients will be paid from April 25, 2025 to April 28, 2025 at fixed and mobile payment points. Most beneficiaries have come to receive their full pension and allowances with a joyful and excited spirit.

During the implementation process, Tien Giang Social Insurance always thoroughly implements the motto "Taking people and businesses as the center of service", promotes administrative procedure reform, strongly applies information technology in management and payment stages, in order to improve the quality of public services. At the same time, it is flexible in operation to meet payment requirements in the context of streamlining the organizational apparatus in accordance with the policies of the Party and the State, aiming to best serve the interests of participants and beneficiaries of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies in the province.
