A representative of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance (SHI) said: The city's Social Insurance has announced the schedule for paying pensions and social insurance benefits from September 2025 onwards in Ho Chi Minh City according to the following process:
Payment via account: Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance directly transfers money into the beneficiary's account from the first working day of the month.
Payment in cash: Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Binh Duong Provincial Post Office, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Post Office organize payment at payment points from the 10th of each month; continue to pay at the Post Offices of the Central/District Post Offices from the 11th to the 25th of each month.
+ Note: Payment time is during business hours and Saturday morning. In case the payment date falls on Sunday, holiday or Tet, the payment date is the next working day.
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance recommends that beneficiaries open accounts and register to receive pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts to avoid wasting time traveling, receive pensions quickly and conveniently; contribute to effectively implementing the solution of applying the National Population Database in paying monthly pensions and social insurance benefits through non-cash payment methods according to the Government 's direction.
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance in collaboration with the Post Office and Banks continues to deploy the work of checking, reviewing, and updating citizen identification cards (CCCD) into pension payment data, combined with promoting monthly pension and social insurance allowance payments via non-cash payment methods (TTKDTM).
