Pay pensions and social insurance benefits for May 2025 earlier than usual

In the payment period of May 2025, the whole city has 23,089 people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits, with a total payment of more than 178.7 billion VND. Of which, 16,123 people will receive payment via personal accounts (ATM), with a total amount of more than 132.3 billion VND, which will be received on April 25, 2025, and 6,966 people will receive cash at payment points of the Post Offices throughout the city from April 25-28, 2025.

Identifying the service of beneficiaries as a key task, Vietnam Social Security in general and Can Tho City Social Security in particular have been constantly making efforts to reform administrative procedures and strongly apply information technology to ensure full, accurate and timely payment to beneficiaries. Can Tho City Social Security especially encourages beneficiaries of social insurance regimes to switch to receiving payments through ATM accounts, because this form brings many conveniences, helping recipients to access the payment regime quickly, saving time and travel costs. Encouraging payment through ATM accounts is in line with the Government's policy on promoting non-cash payments, stipulated in Decision No. 1813/QD-TTg dated October 28, 2021 of the Prime Minister on approving the Project on developing non-cash payments in Vietnam for the period 2021-2025.

Beneficiaries who need to change the form of payment through ATM account can contact the Social Insurance agency where the monthly pension and social insurance allowance are being paid or the Post Office payment point for support and guidance according to regulations.
