With the spirit of “Serving the People”, the rescue police officers did not fear danger and were on duty 24/7. By 2:00 p.m. on November 19, the force had coordinated with local authorities and other units to promptly bring 71 people to safety, including 4 elderly people, 6 children and 2 people with serious illnesses.

Touching images were recorded by people in many residential areas submerged in floodwaters, soldiers had to use ropes to swing through the muddy, fast-flowing floodwaters to reach, carry, and lift the elderly and children onto rubber boats, and then continue moving to a safe gathering point. Many people could not hold back their tears, continuously thanking the rescue soldiers for their timely rescue.
On the same day, Colonel Le Quang Dong - Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department and leaders of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department directly went to the hot spots in Do Vinh and Bao An wards and Ninh Son commune to direct. Here, Colonel Le Quang Dong requested the forces to urgently evacuate all households in areas at risk of deep flooding before 5:00 p.m. on November 19, absolutely not allowing people to stay in dangerous areas. By the afternoon of November 19, heavy rain continued to be complicated, water levels in many places were still at alarming levels.
Khanh Hoa Police force together with military and militia units continue to be on duty, ready to respond to all situations, determined to protect the lives and property of the people.
