The Government will have a resolution to remove difficulties and obstacles for pending projects.

On the afternoon of May 15, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee on resolving difficulties and problems of pending projects with leaders of several central ministries and branches.

The meeting aims to agree on principles and proposed solutions to resolve difficulties and problems of backlogged projects as proposed by the Ministry of Finance .

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh said that the resources are still very large, according to statistics, there are currently more than 2,200 projects that are "shelved" with an investment capital of up to 5.8 million billion VND, equivalent to 230 billion USD. If we focus on overcoming the difficulties of these projects, we will unlock a significant resource to put into the economy , promote socio-economic development, and serve the growth target.

The Government will have a resolution on this issue and will organize a national conference to disseminate and implement it.

On May 15, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a decision to establish the Government Steering Committee on Science and Technology Development, Innovation, Digital Transformation and Project 06 (SC). Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh is the Head of the SC; Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh is the Deputy Head of the SC.

On May 15, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 932/QD-TTg approving the list of members and functions and tasks of the Administrative Reform Working Group. The head of the Working Group is Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra.
