Traffic allowed through Thach Nham spillway from 11am today

QNgTV- After many days of construction efforts, Quang Ngai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company and the construction unit have temporarily fixed the landslides at Thach Nham spillway on Provincial Road 623B. From 11:00 a.m. on November 14, people and vehicles can travel through this spillway.

Traffic is allowed through Thach Nham spillway from 11:00 a.m. on November 14.

During the recent flood, the Thach Nham spillway on Provincial Road 623B - spanning the Tra Khuc River, connecting the plains with the mountainous areas of Quang Ngai - was severely damaged, causing traffic congestion for many days. Immediately after the floodwater level receded below the spillway surface, the Quang Ngai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company coordinated with the construction unit to urgently fix the landslide.

Since 11am today, the damaged items have been basically handled, the eroded dam foot has also been temporarily reinforced. People and vehicles can travel through Thach Nham spillway. However, as this is only a temporary solution, the authorities advise drivers to be careful when passing through this area, especially when the weather continues to rain.

In the coming time, Quang Ngai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company will deploy a solid repair plan to ensure traffic safety on the route.
