Long Thanh golf course investor earns more than 27 billion VND

Long Thanh Golf Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company first announced information with after-tax profit of more than 27 billion VND last year.

The investor of Long Thanh golf course recorded a profit after tax of more than 27 billion VND, an increase of about 33% compared to 2021. This is the first time this enterprise has announced information on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

Equity in 2022 increased slightly to about VND6,715 billion, but Golf Long Thanh has more than VND13,800 billion in liabilities, mainly in non-bond channels. The company's outstanding bonds were nearly VND1,500 billion at the end of last year.

This company issued a total of 11 bonds in the 2020-2021 period. Of these, VND500 billion will mature in early August. These bonds have an interest rate of 10.5% per year. The remaining VND1,000 billion of bonds mature at the end of December 2024 with an interest rate of 9.5% per year. Last year alone, the company spent more than VND150 billion to pay bond interest.

Long Thanh Golf Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company is the core business unit in the KN Investment Group ecosystem of Mr. Le Van Kiem. This group is known as one of the prestigious multi-industry business units in the market including real estate, infrastructure construction, resort tourism , renewable energy.

Long Thanh Golf is the investor of the Long Thanh Urban Area, Golf Course, Sports and Ecotourism Project (Bien Hoa, Dong Nai) with a scale of over 333 hectares and the Long Thanh Urban Area Ecotourism Project (Long Thanh District) with a scale of 843 hectares. Of which, Long Thanh Golf Course is one of the largest in the country. This unit announced that it is serving nearly 1,000 members, 60% of whom come from Europe, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, and Thailand.

Long Thanh Golf also invested in a 5-star hotel project, luxury villas and a golf course in Vientiane (Laos), covering nearly 560 hectares. In 2021, the project was upgraded to Long Thanh - Vientiane special economic zone with a total investment of more than one billion USD and a land lease term of 99 years.

The company is also known as a "player" in the field of renewable energy. In the period of 2019-2020, Golf Long Thanh has operated the KN Cam Lam and Cam Lam VN solar power plants, and the KN Van Ninh solar power plant with a total capacity of 200 MW.

Previously, a member company of Long Thanh Golf - KN Cam Ranh Company Limited, also announced a profit of about 207 billion VND last year, a significant improvement compared to the loss of 203 billion VND in the same period. This is the investor of the KN Paradise project (Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa) with a scale of 795 hectares, total investment capital of about 2 billion USD.
